Reiki
(pronounced Ray-Key) means Universal Life Energy. Reiki is a gentle
healing modality that enhances the body’s well-being.
Reiki
accelerates the body’s natural ability to heal itself, relieve
pain, induce relaxation, and reduce stress.
Reiki promotes well-being by bringing harmony to the body, mind
and spirit.
Reiki is a natural
form of hands-on energy transfer. The trained Reiki practitioner
channels this Universal Life Energy as a spiritual means of enhancing
the recipients own body energies and natural response do disease
or illness.
Reiki energy
flows in and through the practitioner; therefore the practitioner’s
energy level is increased, never reduced or depleted during treatments.
Reiki is noninvasive,
and gentle. It is transmitted by soothing touch. (Reiki is not massage, but can assist massage thereapists in their work.)
Reiki can be
effective in bringing healing to situations, enhancing talents,
remediating the past and influencing future developments.
